GroupM has a centralized recruiting function operating as a center of value (COV) in most parts of the world. This team delivers hiring velocity, accountability and, amplifies agency employer brand(s). In the last 12 months alone, this team has recruited more than 5,000 amazing people.

As the advertising landscape gets more complicated, and how people purchase goods has changed forever, GroupM help our clients around the world cut through the noise and get to growth faster.

This role is all about providing a human, meticulous and mindful service for the most senior executives we are talking to about working at GroupM, our agencies, Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Essence, and our portfolio companies, Choreograph, Xaxis, Motion Content Group, Finecast and Kinetic. We save literally millions of dollars by insourcing this service and we have more control over the candidate experience.

This role reports into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at GroupM, based in New York.

As our Candidate Concierge - Global Project Coordinator, you will:
  • Flawlessly coordinate 40-80 cross border interviews each month, partnering with CEO's and ExCo members and their support teams
  • Define and proactively refine our customer experience promise on both sides of the hiring equation. Own the feedback mechanic for customer satisfaction and net promoter score monitoring
  • Learn to use PowerBI to chart prior activities and highlight trends and deliver weekly prioritized lists
  • Play a part in advancing (and measuring) our DEI agenda
  • Advance our partnership with WPP through participation in talent mobility initiatives
  • Provide support on shortlisting when required

Summary:

This is a key role in our Global Talent Acquisition function and helps to shape our overall approach to delivering on our promise of fulfilled people .

You will be the face of GroupM for C-suite/SVP level candidates with 20+ years of experience as they make crucial life decisions about working for us.

Whilst a main focus is coordinating meetings with C-level people in GroupM's 80+ countries, there are strategic elements to the role.

Short-term
  • Arrange 25+ interviews per week for senior candidates all around the world
  • Write a report with recommendations on our candidate/customer experience approach at the Exec level
  • Make friends inside WPP's global talent team.

Mid-term
  • Refine and improve the way we set up people for success in interviews
  • Identify and prioritize candidate experience improvements
  • Master PowerBI for reporting on regular activities (Eg DEI data, cost avoidance)
  • Partner with WPP on x-agency mobility initiatives
  • Work with the regional TA leaders (APAC, UK, NA) to ensure we are addressing capacity issues at the mid-senior level

Long-term
  • Continue to flawlessly organize meetings between GroupM execs and prospective hires around the world
  • Help to organize a Global 2022 TA summit, bringing the best ideas and team members together in a single location (possibly virtual) to share best practices
  • Use PowerBI to summarize key information, trends and insights (with recommendations)
  • Establish consistency in our "Product" for the regions

Qualifications:

It's not all about what you can do and have done. This role is about what you can be and become. However, we will need:
  • Astonishing organizational skills
  • Strong situational awareness
  • Massive patience and flexibility, but able to drive momentum
  • High comfort level with data (Advanced Excel or PowerBI)
  • We'd prefer that you have working experience in a large, complex business across multiple cities, in the US. Experience in a fast-moving industry where customer experience is highly prized - for example, Executive Search, Events Management, Hospitality and TV production.
  • Multiple languages a major plus (esp Mandarin or Spanish)
