The Role:

We are looking for a Vice President to join our evolving team. This role will have primary responsibility for being a strategic counselor and advisor to senior marketing and communications clients on all matters pertaining to their business, focusing on reputation marketing strategy.
The candidate must have extensive experience in organically growing client business, passion for new ideas and moving companies into new categories of leadership, and is committed to lead, manage and inspire the team, across multiple markets. We have an intelligent working philosophy, thus this person can be based in ANY U.S. location!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and overseeing overall strategy for one of AxiCom's flagship clients; be the trusted advisor, working closely with key communications and marketing executives as well as Business Unit leaders. Maintain growing and profitable client revenue and be an excellent team leader.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Maintain a connection with top clients (and prospects) to identify opportunities and vulnerabilities (both on behalf of the client and within the AxiCom team).
Achieve high client satisfaction and retention by keeping a client-centric viewpoint.
Contribute to organic growth by understanding the client's business and future needs, even those the client has not yet articulated.
Ensure client service excellence practices are being implemented; apply those learnings to improve overall business relationship and effectiveness.
Manage strong financial performance and deliver against revenue and profit goals for the account.
Identify potential risks and opportunities by being forward looking on the business.
Attract, retain and develop talent. Manage staff across multiple locations.

Requirements:

10+ years of Public Relations agency technology experience
Preferred expertise in content marketing, digital media and/or integrated communications
Impeccable client relationship skills and experience working with high touch clients
Experience managing large programs from start to finish
Demonstrated track record of growing accounts organically
Demonstrated track record of managing, leading, developing and inspiring teams
Ability to push the envelope and think outside of the box
