ABOUT THE ROLE:


You'll play a key role in developing Amazon eCommerce media investment strategies, and make insightful recommendations and optimizations to hit measurable business goals. You'll manage daily tasks for stewarding approved plans and train Associates in media fundamentals, policies/procedures, and systems.

YOUR IMPACT:
  • Partnering with the Manager in the development of Amazon eCommerce media plans, including flighting, volume planning, impression and investment forecasting
  • Becoming an expert in the eCommerce media landscape, Amazon ecosystem, shopper behavior, and the rapidly growing eGrocery landscape
  • Implementing, activating and monitoring digital buys/schedules, and optimizing campaign
  • Optimizing and tracking to performance KPIs, including (but not limited to) ROAS (return on ad spend), iROAS (incremental return on ad spend), new to brand percentage, conversion rate
  • Understanding basic & advanced methodology and data behind 3rd party research tools and run the needed reports to assist in the media recommendation development
  • Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating data to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations
  • Delivering POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities
  • Making appropriate recommendations for the maintenance or growth of the digital media plan based on client activity
  • Seeking client approval of plans and recommendation on a timely basis
  • Researching incremental opportunities for client advertising
  • Ensuring proper execution of digital communication plans
  • Maintaining accurate budget control and flow of media activity, and proactively, consistently update client contact(s) through periodic analyses and projection reports
  • Compiling monthly digital reconciliation against actuals for billing
  • Working in Prisma and Mediaocean as needed
  • Preparing media authorizations per approved plans/project requests
  • Maintaining certain aspects of client billing and budgeting process
  • Maintaining the accuracy of planning costs / rates
  • Acting with high integrity to maintain strong, collaborative, productive working relationships across all internal / external teams and partners
  • Providing timely and accurate delivery of all work
  • Training and developing Associate(s), as well as reviewing their work for accuracy
  • Meeting with and developing/maintaining relationships with media suppliers
  • Attending and participating in client meetings as needed
  • Demonstrating a desire to create improvement and better outcomes through innovation / approaching things in new ways
  • Thinking of new solutions to your work / client challenges

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2+ year of digital media or digital investment experience, Amazon experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency)
  • Strong project management skills, comfortable managing 150+ campaigns quarterly
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
  • Strongly business-minded, extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ambition by keeping abreast of industry trends through trade news, industry workshops / seminars and tracking current events
  • Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
