What does a insert job title do at Hogarth?

As a UX Lead, you will be responsible for creating intuitive digital experiences, optimised for the user, business and brand.

You will be capable of independently leading the UX and UI remit of projects of varying complexity from end-to-end. From facilitating design workshops and conducting research, to defining customer journeys, IA, wireframes, interactive prototypes and testing solutions with users. You are experienced with UX methodologies and techniques and know how to tailor your approach to the needs of a project.

The ideal candidate is an empathetic, curious, creative problem solver with a passion for technology. You will join an ambitious and growing team of strategists, creatives and technologists based in Singapore and around the world!

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the APAC Digital Champion

You will work closely across all teams.

  • Developing the UX strategy for projects
  • Leverage your expertise with UX processes and methodologies to decide the best approach for projects of varying complexity
  • Design and facilitate design thinking workshops
  • Lead user research activities, including interviews, testing, secondary research, synthesis and analysis
  • Develop personas and translate user needs and business goals into strategic experience design materials such as customer journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Confident and articulate to communicate solutions to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
  • Hybrid UX and UI design skills are preferable but not mandatory - bring the UXstrategy to life with beautiful, intuitive, pixel-perfect aesthetics and UI design patterns

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX
  • Fully proficient in the UX discipline with a solid understanding and demonstrable experience of UX methodologies and design principles such as running workshops, conducting qualitative research, creating personas, customer journey mapping, developing information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and usability testing
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills across written, presentation and team communication
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision. Always open and curious about trying new tools that can enhance the output or improve efficiency
  • An online portfolio of work that clearly outlines the requirements and deliverables of the projects and your role within them
  • A self-starter, able to work independently
  • Passion for technology - excited to design seamless experiences across digital touchpoints, from web to mixed reality and conversational interfaces
  • Experience creating and implementing accessible (WCAG 2.1) designs
