We are seekin g an Account Manager to join Media C om's Creative Systems Partnerships team

MediaCom Sport & Entertainment is a specialist partnership and brand engagement division of Creative Systems, MediaCom's newly launched in-house agency built to transform clients' brand relevance and accelerate growth. The division's main aim is to transform the role of partnerships as a conduit to drive demonstratable growth: from reactive to strategic, from siloed to integrated, and from unaccountable to measurable. We act as a 360 agency, helping clients develop and executive partnerships platforms that can compete for the most precious asset of their customers - their time. Adopting entirely channel and property agnostic approach, our strategy, recommendations and execution are entirely underpinned by data, resulting in consistently higher ROI, better brand alignment, higher engagement and more pronounced business benefits.

Objectives of the Role:

The Manager, Sports & Entertainment Partnerships will be a key contributor to the S&E team within Creative Systems, responsible for working with internal and external partners to flawlessly execute programs/projects across retained S&E accounts, including various programs across the U.S.

The ideal candidate for this role will have direct experience supporting the development and execution of successful branded entertainment programs. The candidate will have strong organizational, project management and time-management skills. They will be able to multi-task and be energized by a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have strong presentation skills and be capable supporting the development and presentation of client-facing deliverables.

The candidate should be passionate about the Pop-Culture, Music & Entertainment landscape, having their finger on the pulse of culture and a strong understanding of the landscape and potential partners.

The Account Manager, S&E Partnerships supports the MediaCom ambition to be each of our clients most valued business partner, famous for inspiring people and exceptional results. The candidate would be excited by our unique model and share in Mediacom's passion to work within the ever-evolving media landscape, while delivering integrated cross-channel solutions, specifically seeking to leverage entertainment & sports partnerships to elevate consumer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides general support (project and admin) to S&E team
  • Assists with research (industry, client, agency, etc.), proposal development and job execution
  • Develops understanding of clients' business, with varying levels of client contact
  • Responsible for development & circulation of multiple internal/external communications (e.g. Status reports, conference reports, meeting agendas, etc.)
  • Focus on project execution according to agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
  • Prepared to lead on specific components of an overall program/account
  • Builds full knowledge of Mediacom Creative Systems, the S&E specialty offering, mission & vision utilizing resources appropriately/efficiently
  • Establishes effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams
  • Works closely with account teams and Finance to coordinate and track billing, estimates, PO's, etc
  • Ongoing tracking of current industry events & trends, providing office with relevant updates
  • Support team leaders with information, data, ideas, POVs, etc. in and around the S&E Partnership space


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Head of Sports & Head of Entertainment and supporting team Director/Associate Director, you will be responsible to provide regular client and program updates
  • Develops rapport with mid-level clients, troubleshooting conflicts as they arise
  • Primary day-to-day project manager for execution of scoped projects/activations
  • Accountable for development of project/program briefing materials and project planning materials, thinking through various steps in the process
  • Develops and delivers polished Client presentations, creating content & composition of document
  • Develops program recap/evaluation materials
  • Ensures that financial aspects of the programs/account(s) are managed according to agency procedures
  • Mentors more junior team members, may supervise an AE
  • Develops core area(s) of expertise (Entertainment, Music, non-traditional media/content partnership models, etc.)
  • Ongoing tracking of current industry events & trends, providing office with relevant updates
  • Support MediaCom client leaders with information, data, ideas, POVs, etc. in and around the S&E Partnership space
  • Drive integrated thinking and solutions for clients in partnership with other disciplines
  • Maintain and build industry relationships and contacts
  • Participate in Creative System creative brainstorming sessions and MediaCom client briefs


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and clients ranging from senior corporate executives to other strategic partner companies
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills
  • High-energy and up-beat with hunger to succeed; disciplined with a need to mentor, possessing a passionate personality
  • Accomplished multi-tasker and team player with strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Tremendous integration skills, with ability to work across, and in concert with, various marketing channels/media disciplines


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years Sports & Entertainment experience with an emphasis on Entertainment, Content, Talent and Music partnerships
  • Demonstrates excellence in project and client management, successfully leading day-to-day client relationships and program execution
  • Comprehension of the partnerships/media/communications channels landscape
  • Impressive account and project management background, understanding how to manage complex programs and timelines with many stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Negotiation and IP experience, understanding the fundamentals of partnership agreements, rights, usages and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • Strong industry contacts
