Senior Project Manager

The Role:

The Senior XF Project Manager (SPM) works closely with the Client Producers to implement campaigns in Turkey. The SPM is expected to lead and manage projects while bringing together a multi-disciplinary team comprising of internal and external resources as required. He/she needs to provide an optimum solution for the client that answers the brief within all the necessary specified style and technical guidelines.

They will work closely with the production teams on a day-to-day basis and will also need to engage with other cross-functional teams of project managers to ensure work is delivered on time, on quality and within budget.

The Senior XF PM's primary task is to lead his/her team and that includes creating structure and processes that support the development of excellent work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support each internal functional team by managing localization of all marketing materials on the agency side.
  • Communicate the briefs to the production teams, and ensure that the correct creative direction is being taken
  • Set and manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timeframe while coordinating and ensuring all parties follow the agreed workflows
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with all key stakeholders, function leads, cross-functional project managers, senior managers, and third-party vendors that are directly involved with the work
  • Ensure that the line manager is always aware of all client issues and proposed solutions (including potential delays) to ensure swift resolution and avoid further escalation
  • Ensure your team consistently delivers against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
  • Act as a brand QC/Guardian - always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed
  • Keep GAD informed of any circumstances which would positively or negatively affect forecasts
  • Organize teamwork, create balanced work schedule and ensure people are able to deliver results
  • Plan resources for projects and inform line manager of new recruitment needs

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years solid Project Management experience in a similar capacity
  • Experience working on global brands, across all media, including print, interactive and film
  • Very high competence in project management software
  • Excellent communication skills to different target groups within the project team, management and clients
  • Ensure understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs of the accounts and ensure specific details are understood by the wider team where relevant
  • Analytical and detailed in project documentation, accountability and tracking
  • Pragmatic, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to function productively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • High level of IT literacy, including use of spreadsheets
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Prioritization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in both Turkish and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
