The purpose of your role is to support and assist users in the business on System Applications.

Trouble shooting day to day system related processing issues and training on applications to users. Ensuring systems controls and IT security compliance procedures are mandated within WPP AUNZ.

The role works under the guidance of and provides support and assistance with the Business Applications Director. The role also assists monitoring master data maintenance and escalating product issues to Third Party Software providers to help with system development requirements. Under the guidance of team leads, you will also assist with user acceptance testing of applications.

  • Assisting finance with their monthly process and use of the system
  • Monitoring incoming support Helpdesk queries
  • User maintenance (new/change/password reset)
  • ERP system desktop general support (phone/email)
  • Audit log reviews and action
  • Master data maintenance
  • Basic reporting writing
  • Query/response tracker maintenance
  • Escalation of queries to senior support staff or Third Party software supplier

In 3 months:
  • Being able to bond/interact well within the team and users in the wider business
  • Be able to get a good understanding of the Group structure/Businesses
In 6 months:
  • Be an expert in Tier 1 Support requirements and therefore move into Tier 2 support
  • Being comfortable communicating with team leads and have the initiative to learn more
  • Be able to when required escalate support issues
In 12 months:
  • Be able to sure Audit requirements are meet
  • Be able to assist with UAT testing and product upgrades
  • Be able to assist with system applications product training
  • Tertiary education preferable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Background in ERP systems
  • Technically minded
  • Moderate to high levels of proficiency in Excel (eg. Vlookups, conditional formatting)
  • Proven abilities to management competing priorities
