We have a unique opportunity to join our specialist medical team. As Medical Director you will be part of the team responsible for managing and delivering international projects to a comprehensive portfolio of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. The role is tailored for those professionals with previous medical and scientific research experience in the healthcare sector that are hoping to transition to the commercial setting. Working across all teams you will provide medical support and direction from set up to delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Extensive literature review & analysis of therapy areas
  • Generate and develop search strategies for the capture of publication data
  • Analysis of high volume of most current scientific/medical literature
  • Assessment and classification of scientific abstracts and medical insights
  • Evaluation of quantitative and bibliometric data in the shortlisting of global, national and emerging experts for pharmaceutical clients across a range of engagement activities
  • Generate detailed summary reports on key opinion leaders
  • Extensive desk research
  • Assessment and translation of key scientific messages from the forefront of medical research
  • Quality control of communications and content

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Medical Degree or;
  • PhD (Medical/Pharmaceutical) with demonstrated clinical experience
  • Research experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to understand and translate scientific/medical literature and data


Desirable Criteria

  • Previous Pharmaceutical experience
