As our clients find themselves in an increasingly complex world of marketing and media, we work with them to simplify and demystify what can at first appear complex. The Growth Consultant is a role embedded at Google, where you will work with AE's and Sector VP's to surface opportunity for Acceleration, and value for our clients. The role is critical as it ensures Google teams have easy and rapid access to the best consulting teams and Google technologies. The role will focus on the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

As a Growth Consultant, you will work with Google account leads to meet the needs of our clients. You will also work closely with our Growth Consultants embedded in the Agencies.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing leads, coordinating and qualifying leads with the team. You will be happy selling individually as well as part of a wider team. You go beyond the role of a traditional Business Development Director or Partner Manager as you will have a depth of understanding in GMP and GCP technologies and be able to advise clients.

You will be a strong relationship builder, identifying new opportunities and educating and evangelizing to Google about our consulting capabilities. You have a consultative sales approach and an understanding of the digital transformation space. It is vital that you are able to articulate value, inspire and sell the impact that data and marketing technology can have on transforming a business. As a trusted advisor, you are the person who will collaborate with key Google stakeholder, and our clients.

  • Evaluate, create and drive Acceleration opportunities (tech and consulting) and pipeline in partnership with Google
  • Build relationships across Google sales teams as well as Partner and Executive sponsors. Be the face of Acceleration inside Google.
  • Be the single point of connection into Acceleration and GroupM for Google
  • Present and build on our credentials with best in class examples of our work. Work with Partner Marketing to bring these case studies to life for Google and its clients
  • Be an evangelist for our proposition and showcase it internally as well as externally
  • Deliver and maintain accurate forecasting for business planning purposes
  • Develop an extensive network within Google and within our group
  • Nurture a strong pipeline of net new opportunities that continually evolves
  • An ability to qualify and prioritize inbound nett new revenue opportunities
  • Engage pre-sales resources at the right time via the PMO to support in winning opportunities
  • Become an expert in our overall offering and that of key technologies within the Google stack.
  • Strong sales leader with a proven track record of navigating a matrix organization.
  • Experience in enterprise technology
  • C-level engagement and negotiation, account strategy, domain expertise, executive selling and large deal management

  • Graduate qualification in Marketing, Technology or Business
  • Postgraduate degree a plus
  • Experience working the channel and developing opportunity with technology partners
  • 10 years' plus experience within the Marketing or consulting environment
  • Have hands on experience crafting proposals for consulting engagements
  • Have a working understanding of GMP (and GCP a bonus)
  • Ability to strategically navigate organizations and work with cross-functional teams
  • Up-to-date on Marketing trends in data and tech and interest in data-driven marketing
  • Commercial orientation with some experience/ interest in crafting statements of work and building pricing for service business
  • Comfortable with presenting ideas to sr. leaders in team and client meetings.
