ROLE OVERVIEW:

As our clients find themselves in an increasingly complex world of marketing and media, we work with them to simplify and demystify what can at first appear complex. We work with clients across GroupM and WPP to meet their future marketing needs by harnessing the power of Google's technology across both Google Marketing Platform (GMP) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Our Global partnership with Google has been built over 20yrs and is rooted in deep subject matter experience. Our consultants work with clients to meet their modern marketing challenges using Google technology as the backbone to many of the data and technology solutions we deliver.

The role of the Partner Marketing Associate Director is critical to the growth of our business over the next five years, and will help us extend our leadership position within the Google eco-system, by planning and executing our partner marketing strategy with them. Working with Google, you will ensure our proposition, knowledge and history are brought to life. You will ensure that Acceleration is top of mind when Google sales teams are seeking partners who can support their Google technology and consulting requirements. Google has a sales-team of 35,000 sellers, so your strategies will need to be executed at scale, provide the best possible coverage, and support our Acceleration Growth Consultants, by building brand equity, and confidence in our abilities to deliver data and technology solutions that drive real business value. We need to become famous at Google, for being the partner that turns bold ambition, into business reality.

You will be a strong leader and relationship builder, identifying where clarification of messaging is needed and mapping our storytelling against the latest trends in the market to stay top of mind.

AREA OF EXPERTIZE:

Accelerationis part of WPP, the world's largest advertising and marketing services group. Clients come to us to solvetodaysbiggest challenges, surrounding the use of data and technology, to support delivery of improved digitalmarketingexperiences for their customers, across paid, owned and earned environments.Typicallytheir biggest area of investment is media, and using data and technology, to un-lock value in this area is critical.You willdisplaya distinctive level of subject matter expertise on how to architect and deliveradvertising / marketing technology and data strategies thataccelerate clientvalue,by increasing customer engagement and personalizationin this area. Google is a key partner of ours, and a primary route to market - knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform as wellas how Google Cloud can improve marketing efforts is a strong bonus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Right now, our ideal candidates will be working in the channel, building strong partnerships with technology vendors, using cut-thought marketing techniques. You will understand the marketing technology landscape, and the vendors that work within it, but more specifically you will understand how these partnerships work and the dynamics of "sell-with" growth programs, where we go to market together with the partner, around core clients. You will understand how to create compelling messaging, that resonates with heavily incentivized partner sales teams, and positions us as the right partner. You should also have ambitions to build / manage a small team, and will need to take responsibility for that as we scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate, create and drive our partner marketing strategy
  • Develop a CRM campaign to manage all our key partner contacts, ensuring they have our latest thinking and case studies, and that we are continually top of mind.
  • Ensure the needs of our sales team, and that of Google is being met through the packaging of sales support materials - one-pagers, case studies etc
  • Develop KPI reports to share with partners on a timely basis to secure future revenue streams and co-op dollars.
  • Maintain social media, including multiple weekly updates to LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Align our capabilities and package to key Google verticals.
  • Build sales material and support our consulting teams to simplify and tell a compelling story.
  • Work with our consultants to identify the latest industry trends and challenges facing brands and package solutions to meet these needs.
  • Work with Google to drive co-branded events / webinars for clients and prospects
  • Market our latest thinking, and results into Google on an ongoing basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate qualification in Marketing, Technology or Business
  • Postgraduate degree a plus
  • 10 years + experience within the Marketing
  • Experience marketing B2B and B2C
  • Experience working in an agency or consulting environment
  • Have hands on experience crafting propositions, simplifying a story that can seem complex
  • Have a working understanding of GMP (and GCP a bonus)
  • Ability to strategically navigate organizations and work with cross-functional teams
  • Up-to-date on Marketing trends in data and tech
