ROLE overview:

As the Google Marketing Platform Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in onboarding, supporting, and developing clients on Google Display&Video360, CampaignManager360 and SearchAds360. You will be responsible for ensuring that clients get the most out of their technology investments across Google's Marketing Platform, as well as the day-to-day management of client technology support.

Working closely with the Business Managers and WPP Agency Client Leads you will have the capability to identify commercial opportunities and work alongside Senior Consultants to develop and implement innovation and process optimization that will benefit the client and Acceleration.

You will need to be comfortable working individually, or as part of a team. You will sometimes be driving a specific stream of work that is part of a larger engagement, and at other times might be driving a single stream project more independently.

AREA OF EXPERTIZE:

You will be a subject matter expert on Google's Analytics360 and secondary technologies, to ensure Acceleration remains one of Google's most trusted Partners. You will have the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical clients alike, and the ability to interact with internal and external product management teams.

Typically, Client's biggest area of investment is media, and using data and technology, to un-lock value in this area is critical. Demonstrative ability of the Google Marketing Platform, as well as how Google Cloud can improve marketing efforts is a strong bonus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You will be the subject matter expert on the Google Marketing Platform and secondary technologies, to ensure Acceleration remains one of Google's most trusted Partners, while having the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical clients as well as the ability to interact with internal and external product management teams alike.

You will demonstrate your expertise in Google Marketing Platform products and serve as a first-tier support contact and internal support escalation point. The role includes supporting clients on advanced and sophisticated troubleshooting issues, supporting business development on technical pre-sales, executing upon product implementation and training, supporting solutions consulting projects, as well as partner escalation management and custom solutions development to Acceleration's clients.

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of a variety of channels across the Google Marketing Platform including GoogleAnalytics360. The role is client focused and requires the ability to grasp technical issues and their impact on sales opportunities within our prospecting and existing client-base. This role involves ensuring that the delivery of all work is of the highest standard, with continued participation of client and partner meetings, presentations, and workshops.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maximize business growth by ensuring high adoption and usage of Google Marketing Platform in the market
  • Be the primary day-to-day technical contact for our client base, providing prompt, professional consultative support, and service to ensure an elevated level of customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Business Development and Account Management teams to scope and collect client requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and apply technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical and developer teams to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues.
  • Maintain industry, Google product, and customer knowledge to provide successful ad management operational and technical consultation. Lead or contribute to projects that increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide support to other members of the team including Business Development, Account Management and Consultants assisting us to deliver upon complex solutions while upskilling others.
  • Work closely with Business Managers to identify opportunities for the business to cross-sell other technologies, services, including but not limited to data analysis, media measurement, conversion attribution and optimization, ad-tech, CRM integration using Google Cloud Platforms and marketing automation.
  • Have the ability to identify and successfully improve processes and frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certification and minimum of 5 years' practical experience on Google Marketing Platform Technologies (DV360, CM360 & SA360) essential
  • GoogleAnalytics360 and GA4 knowledge and implementation experience advantageous
  • Experience with client-side web technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Exceptional Advanced level of MS Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, charts, and formulae
  • Strong numeracy including capability with formulas
  • Proven presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to interact well with people of all levels personally and professionally
  • High energy levels and a dedicated team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage teams outside of their expertise.
  • Ability to scope and deliver upon ad tech and experience optimization solutions, ranging from auditing, implementation, instrumentation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrative ability to be able to advise and execute upon measurement strategies, implementations, data analysis with skill to provide insights
  • Ability to present to prospects, clients and provide training to small and large audiences.
  • Experience in providing optimization recommendations
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify business recommendations, pain points and opportunities. Ability to analyse data, deliver findings while providing various actionable recommendations and customized client roadmaps
  • Clearly communicate processes, strategies, and general requirements to internal and external teams.
