Summary:

This person will oversee all marketing projects across all channels for a brand(s). The individual will work with the Account team and all discipline leads to define project scope, cost and time parameters and oversee projects from kick off to completion. The AD will manage a team of junior PM's and will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables are on time, on budget and meet quality goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage project-related documents
  • Ensure all aspects of brand that agency is responsible for are well integrated and all team members are well informed on all initiatives
  • Manage PM's on team ensuring all agency standards are being upheld
  • Management and communication of project budget and timing status
  • Ensure effective workflow between project team members is being facilitated
  • Communication of project status to senior management team and clients
  • On-time, on-budget delivery of projects of the highest quality
  • Ensures that all project documents have been completed, that deliverables are on schedule and within specification and budget for a given project
  • Performs cross-functional task management for a given project
  • Interfaces with the Account and Discipline Leads to resolve project-related issues; escalates larger project issues and risk as needed for resolution
  • At times authors and maintains (other times overseas) project plans, project briefs, Statements of Work, change control procedures and cost estimates with input from team members, as needed
  • Reports project status on a regular basis to management and client
  • Assists junior PM's with adjusting project plans as necessary and helps to determine corrective actions for slippage and other challenges
  • Ensures all team deliverables are complete and of the highest qual
  • Ongoing management of team workflow and information repository systems

Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years experience in agency Project Management with at least 4 in Health (launch experience a plus)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of development processes, including waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of digital processes including strategy, creative, UX, conten, technology, QA, and analytics tasks and deliverables
  • Knowledge of all traditional marketing channels
  • Strong management skills to not only ensure quality work is being produced but also nurture and develop junior talent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and take-ownership attitude
  • Must be highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects/brands
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Proficient in all office and communications software
