In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Well-versed in all team and client processes, and able to both independently oversee and action all planning tasks, including interrogating briefs from clients, briefing out & negotiating with media partners, building strong digital media plans, presenting response to briefs to clients - all within deadlines
  • Efficiently & effectively managing all client comms and confidently leading all digital planning conversations, with the support of Associate Digital Director.
  • Managing the workload & output of a Digital Coordinator. Ensuring that all their tasks are being completed correctly & on time, and that all digital campaigns are delivering against agreed KPI's and briefed objectives.
  • Formed a good rapport with your team & the client, with regular catch-ups to ensure that all processes are being followed and goals are being met.

In six months:
  • Be one of the primary go-to Digital expert for the client & the internal team.

What your day job looks like at MediaCom:
  • Planning and buying digital campaigns across all platforms, with a strong focus on Video.
  • Attending & actively contributing in client & internal WIPs
  • Attending & actively contributing in briefing sessions
  • Liaising with Media Owners daily to brief in campaigns, review brief responses, negotiate on rates.
  • Putting together Media Plans and response decks, and presenting your recommendations to the client with supporting rationale.
  • Work with your team to ensure that all campaigns are delivering against agreed KPI's and briefed objectives
  • Managing the junior members of your team to ensure correct campaign implementation & getting campaigns live on time - overseeing/checking bookings, creative specs, trafficking & general project management.
  • Managing the junior members of your team to ensure weekly campaign reporting is completed on time, including providing actionable insights and optimization recommendations
  • Managing the junior members of your team to ensure all financial process including monthly invoicing are completed by the invoicing deadline.
  • Resolving any invoice queries
  • Ensuring that the full compliance process is actioned and completed within deadlines
  • Managing the workload, output & progression of Digital Coordinator.
  • Updating Associate Director & Client Lead on status of day to day tasks and performance of junior team members
  • Attending all training required to enhance your skills

Minimum qualifications:
  • At least 2-3 years of digital experience in a media agency
  • Can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the local digital market, the key digital publishers and their offering.
  • Has knowledge of the full end-to-end digital planning & buying process
  • Is fully proficient in the post-campaign process: digital implementation, booking, trafficking, reporting, invoicing etc.
  • Is proficient on DCM, Facebook Business Manager, Snapchat for Business, Twitter for Business.
  • Fully proficient in Digital Media Planning
  • Solid understanding of Programmatic Planning & Buying & can analyse & discuss results & recommend optimizations.
  • Basic understanding of 3 rd party verification tools, like MOAT, IAS &/or DV.
  • Has established Media Partner relationships & proven media negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team, multiple workloads & meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport with clients & gain their trust.
  • Has good client presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint

Nice to have's, but not essential:
  • Experience on working with global clients, and managing global relationships
  • Knowledge &/or passion for film, entertainment & pop culture
