What you'll be doing:

As we progress on this journey, finance plays an essential partnership role to deliver our transformation outcomes/benefits covering People, Clients, communities, the world and the cost savings. You will be a lead finance partner for the Transformation Programmes, focusing on several our portfolios and you will partner with the Finance SLT, Operational directors and Portfolio Finance lead's for those portfolios globally to shape, monitor and deliver all outcomes/benefits to time and full financial impact.

Reporting into the WPP Transformation Operations Director, you will manage all aspects of outcome/benefits & financial reporting, planning, insight and value realization.
  • As the Lead finance partner you'll improve the definition, understanding, tracking and reporting of the performance of the overall programme. This includes costs, savings, FTE transformation and other non-financial benefits where we drive improvement for our colleague, client, communities and the planet.
  • For the above scope accountable for the financial forecasting, planning, and reporting of our investments and outcomes, working closely with our broader Transformation portfolio finance leads.
  • Gives strategic direction and financial leadership to the Portfolio teams, Transformation Operations Director & Transformation Programme Director, whilst also building key relationships with our Global CFOs, CPOs, Global Business Services across the organisation.
  • Responsible for and thought leader on improving data quality, insight, and economic drivers to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, with particular focus on TCO of ERP platforms globally.
  • Work with the Transformation Operations Director to define and manage the financial analysis insights and key reports for our Transformation Portfolios to inform strategic decision making and delivery of business value / outcomes
  • Steward, lead and partner with the business, to ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with, and in the spirit of, local legislative requirements, to enhance and protect value for the short and long term.


What you'll need:
  • Qualified accountant (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Degree or equivalent (i.e. MBA) desirable but not essential
  • Post-qualified experience and / or external experience - focusing on Programme Finances and cost/benefit management.
  • Experience in managing digital spend / supporting business transformation / ERP programmes in global organisations
  • Data-led approach to solving complex problems, driving new insights and identifying value opportunities
