Role Context:

We are looking for a data scientist expert in advanced analytics who will define and implement advanced analytics (consumer journey, advanced segmentation, churn/switcher models, multi-touch attribution, predictive modelling, lifetime value analysis, normalization work, multi-variables correlation models ...). This role will support the Marketing Intelligences & Sciences (MIS) team in providing relevant tools to answer key business questions. You will be a strategic thinker ideating based on hypotheses leading to the creation of advanced analytics solutions and services, with special focus on data clean rooms and data management platforms (DMP).

Core Responsibilities :
  • Lead audience science and data clean room strategy analytics for clients
  • Research and recommend the best analytic approaches to solving the most difficult marketing problems facing our clients
  • Create measurement hypotheses, identify client's data (1PD) and other data sets and preferred technique/model
  • Conceptualize, create, and deploy proprietary models to enhance audience strategy, audience-driven planning, and activation: consumer journey, advanced segmentation, churn/switcher models, propensity, demand forecast model, multi-touch attribution, predictive modelling, lifetime value analysis, normalization work, multi-variables correlation models)
  • Oversee the creation of audience profile leveraging key tools, such as Neustar DMP, Google Insight Explorer, Saleforce, MRI, etc.
  • Build thoughtful presentations and reports to deliver the right story to clients from advanced analytics outputs from modern solutions (examples: clean room, analytics query-able environment, audience profiles)
    • Partner with the entire team to learn the most efficient and effective way to extract value from data and develop a story telling approach grounded in client business reality

Required Skills / Experience :
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline, which required heavy use of statistics, data science, machine learning, etc. is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of hands-on relevant work experience in data science application and in manipulating large unstructured and structured data sets to create insights
  • Proficiency in programming languages: SQL, Python; Knowledge of R a plus
    • Statistics skills in distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc a plus
  • Ability to operate in clean rooms (ADH, AMC, Facebook AA, Habu, Snowflake, etc), analytics environments and data management platforms (Neustar, Salesforce, Liveramp, etc)
    • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to model, scale, and predict a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, especially digital analytics, and media analytics highly preferred - Agency experience is a plus
  • Experience with Google tools a plus (Google Marketing Platforms (GMP), Google Analytics (GA), CM360, DV360, SA360, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong speaking and written professional communication skills
  • Natural curiosity for exploring data and finding the untold story
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • High sense of accountability and ownership
  • Collaborative with a partnership mindset

In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $90,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications
