About this role:

Here's what you'll be doing

Building client relationship

o Create productive client relationships with junior and mid-level clients throughout the delivery of projects, clearly communicating and managing expectations throughout

o Proactively consider how your actions will affect clients; responding quickly to meet client's needs, resolves problems; avoids over-commitment

o Use appropriate techniques to move others to action or to gain agreement, adapting personal style as required

o Understand the importance of account 'admin'- issuing contact report

Delivery

o Comfortably take responsibility for successful delivery of the projects assigned to you, with light supervision

o Understand staffing and scoping requirements for your projects - generate scopes of work, and timing plans accordingly

o Manage the budget on your projects, and work with Client and PMO Leads to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resource

o Own project management/workflow system data entry and reporting

o Identify potential project risks and developing contingency plan

Commercial Acumen

o Understand the impact of project related decisions on the commercials, and able to balance the commercial demands with the needs of the project

o Recognise when to escalate issues which have commercial implications, and how to manage these situations with your partner

o Manage commercials to within targets on a project basi

o Be aware of the need to drive growth, and consider how they may contribute to thi

Collaboration

o Proactively consult with key members of project teams (internal and external), in order to facilitate partnership-oriented action

Overview of Ogilvy x SCJ portfolio work:

Ogilvy is the lead global creative agency for SCJ (SC Johnson), across their consumer air care, home cleaning, lifestyle and shoe care brands. We have a 10 year relationship with them and it's an award winning piece of business for us. With iconic global brands in the portfolio such as Mr Muscle, Glade, Duck, Pledge and Kiwi, you'd struggle to find a home which doesn't contain one of their products.

Our Ogilvy London office is the EU, Africa, CIS and MENAPT hub for the business, activating powerful brand platforms with locally relevant insights across key paid media channels (Film, OOH, Radio, Display, Social etc.)

We're looking for an integrated Account Manager (with 2-3 years experience as an AM) with these beaviours, who can become an integral part of the day-to-day running of the SCJ business. This role is to be the lead account handler on all of our 'BAU' activity as well as working with Account and PMO leads on larger integrated projects.

The ideal candidate should:

- Be a driving force for our team in making things happen and keeping everyone accountable.

- Be naturally approachable and comfortable in forming professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Where relevant, they should also feel confident in making decisions based on their knowledge of our individual clients and the wider SCJ business.

- Be able to confidently manage multiple projects from end-to-end, as well as be able to spot opportunities for how we can do things better (which we love to hear).

- Be both a 'doer' and 'thinker'

- Be able to motive themselves to drive their projects forward without being prompted

- Be a constant 'champion' of completing next steps to drive a project to completion.

Experience on integrated B2C accounts is essential (ie. experience in TVC, OOH, Radio, Digital, Social etc) and expertise of social media platform best practices would be ideal but not essential
