A Hybrid working model

The Opportunity: Senior Project Manager - Could this be you?

You will manage the daily production and delivery of automotive CGI projects on a global scale (including 3D vehicle models and various assets). You'll have responsibility for managing the jobs' progress through the studio from initial client contact and briefing, through to scoping/costing, planning, liaising with artists and clients, and tight scheduling for an accurate and timely delivery. You will coach and mentor a small team, aiding in their overall development. As a senior member of the program management team, you will work with other senior members to set high standards, develop processes, and aid in knowledge transfer and development of the immediate team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as primary liaison between various internal teams from both our US and UK offices
  • Managing, documenting, and communicating all program risks, issues, and changes
  • Following established processes to coordinate CGI projects through all departments
  • Mentor and act as the point of escalation for the project managers and provide an actionable response, with support from Program Manager as required
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across the project team
  • Ensuring alignment across all work-streams/deliverables for the program
  • Lead regular project status meetings with the client and CGI production teams on your projects
  • Accurately define project scopes and generate accurate estimates
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget & free of errors
  • Maintain internal status reports
  • Manage project files and logs according to outlined standards
  • Actively participate in process enhancement discussions
  • Establish and maintain process documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with varying timelines
  • Seeking continuous improvement and consolidating feedback to Program Manager
  • Strong critical thinking, mediation, and facilitation skills
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolutions to issues related to the delivery of the project
  • Proactively maintain awareness of other projects and remove obstacles/create flexibility when required
  • The ability to foster positive relationships with client and agency partners

Requirements
  • Extensive working experience as a Project Manager/Producer (creative agency experience preferred)
  • CGI production experience with process and program knowledge is a strong plus
  • Automotive experience preferred but not compulsory
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to juggle work for multiple projects at once and prioritise effectively
  • A positive communicator, able to coordinate internal teams positively and confidently
  • Pragmatic and analytically minded, you can adapt to changing deadlines and briefs, predict potential issues and problem solve
  • PC and Mac knowledge, preferably with some knowledge of Microsoft products (primarily building spreadsheets in Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using systems such as JIRA, ProofHQ and Smartsheets
  • Preferred working knowledge in software such as 3D Model, 3dsMax, Maya, Nuke, Vray, Unreal Engine, and Render (from a PM standpoint)
