Job Overview

Join our growing Experience Team at VML & Ogilvy Japan GK as a Product Designer and make a significant impact on unlocking Customer Experience success through human-centered design. In this role, you will translate brand value and strategic thinking into design artifacts, effectively solving both customer and business problems.

At VOJ, we tackle a wide range of projects that demand adaptability across various challenges, industries, and mediums. You'll have the opportunity to design a customer app one day and design interactions for a retail experience the next.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cutting-edge digital products and services, including interfaces, design systems, and prototypes
  • Deliver design output of the highest quality, ensuring usability, simplicity, and beauty
  • Present and articulate design decisions to internal and client stakeholders, receiving guidance and direction from the Design Lead
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Design or related area
  • Portfolio of well-crafted, impactful works that solves real problems for real people
  • Strong visual design craft, mastering the balance between forms and function
  • Proficiency in creating and/or adopting Design Systems
  • Proficiency in creating prototypes that demonstrates real product interactions
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, and Protopie
  • Experience in hands-on UX (user flows, information architecture, user testing, etc.) is a plus
  • Business level or above in Japanese and conversational or above in English
