Why we're hiring:

The role purpose of a D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) Administrator is to manage and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system within an organization. They are responsible for configuring and customizing the D365 application to meet the business requirements, ensuring the system's smooth functioning, and optimizing its performance. The D365 Administrator handles user access, security settings, and permissions, as well as provides support and training to end-users. Additionally, they monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, apply updates and patches, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and new functionalities in the D365 platform to improve business processes and productivity.

What you'll be doing:

The key responsibilities of the D365 Administrator include:
  • Configure and customizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application to align with the organization's business processes and requirements.
  • Manage user access and permissions within the D365 platform to ensure appropriate roles and security settings are assigned.
  • Implementing and maintaining data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Overseeing the deployment of updates, patches, and new releases to the D365 application, ensuring a smooth and error-free process.
  • Managing data within the D365 system, including importing, exporting, and performing data migrations as needed.
  • Creating and managing workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency within the D365 application.
  • Overseeing integrations between D365 and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues and system errors, working to resolve them promptly.
  • Providing training and support to end-users, addressing their queries, and assisting with any system-related issues.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and audit purposes.
  • Monitoring the performance of the D365 application, identifying performance bottlenecks, and optimizing system performance.
  • Creating and generating reports and dashboards within the D365 application to provide insights into business data.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and best practices to enhance the efficiency of D365 administration.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as developers, testers, consultants, and business analysts, to support business initiatives and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure platform adheres to industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to data management and security.
  • Respond to audit requests from internal and external audit teams in a timely manner
  • Maintain and monitor GCC controls and work with relevant teams to keep D365 compliant
  • Run Privileged Access Monitoring process and continually improve the process through automation
  • Ensure changes to the security model are recorded and tracked correctly

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the D365 Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, security, and functionality of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application within the organization
