Our Team:

The WPP Experience Marketing Team organizes 12+ international, multi-stakeholder events annually, representing our CEO and CMO. These events involve WPP and Agency leadership teams, clients, strategic partners, and industry figures. Notable events include The WPP Beach at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, WPP Commerce, The WPP Leadership Conference, and WPP Stream, a renowned innovation event for CEOs, clients, and partners. WPP Stream takes place globally and has built a reputation as "one of the world's best technology conferences" [WIRED].

Our team also manages WPP Studios, an advanced recording facility that empowers WPP's marketing, client, and communication teams to produce high-quality content, including online conferences, client pitches, executive summits, training events, media appearances, town halls, podcasts, and corporate photography, often on the same day.

What you'll be doing:

This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships, providing administrative support, and implementing activities which support the delivery of WPP Events. As a Senior Executive, you will:
  • Manage the WPP Studios inbox and bookings for WPP Studios in Sea Containers House.
  • Conduct Studio tours, meetings and provide recommendations for use.
  • Keep the studio clean and monitor set up for each booking.
  • Manage the studio budget sheet.
  • Liaise with production companies (Metro, Hogarth, Ogilvy) who will provide the production services to the booking/client.
  • Send an end of month (EOM) update and end of year (EOY) wrap to VP and SVP Marketing
  • Operational management, including supporting the delivery of events. This includes timeline management; building and communicating the schedule or run of show; guest list management; organising hospitality; designing guest experiences, championing quality control, sourcing and managing branded SWAG, organising logistics such as external transportation.
  • Supporting the delivery of WPP Campus events.
  • Responsible for the Event Management Systems (EMS). Managing data reported in the EMS and required updates. Track and manage attendee information by campaign/event. Responsible for managing the guest marketing invites and communications around the event.
  • Responsible for managing sponsorship commitment letters. Key stakeholders here include VP Marketing & Partnerships, WPP Partners and WPP finance teams worldwide.
  • Collaboration with legal across all partner contracts and T&Cs.
  • Support WPP marketing and communications functions in the production of assets for branding opportunities at events. Working across a multidisciplinary team to support cross functional activities where required.
  • Website management. Oversee and update all content on, from design to event copy.
  • Onsite event support. Provide a support role to guests, hospitality teams, our production company and support with logistics tasks.
  • Support on general/guest event inquiries, directing constituents to the appropriate place or person.
  • Undertake diary management, travel and expenses.

What you'll need:
  • Previous customer/client-facing experience, preferably in a marketing agency or event company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Comfort with handling data and interacting with senior executives.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Great multitasking abilities and self-motivation.
