What you'll be doing:

  • Be the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR
  • Input employee records, maintain and update records in human resources systems for ready reference
  • Manage the new joiner process, supporting onboarding and induction, includes liaising with line managers to ensure appropriate induction plans are in place and ensuring coordination of IT equipment. Support the team for Background verifications process.
  • Ensure a best in class on-boarding experience for new joiners. Including conducting new joiner inductions.
  • Preparing periodic dashboards / reports and assisting the management in making management decisions
  • Manage the end to end leaver process, ensuring equipment is returned and all systems access is disabled.
  • Provide basic HR advice and support to employees, explaining procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for regular audits of employee files, ensuring legal compliance and adequate documentation.
  • Provide documents and records as and when required
  • Administer the probationary review time periods and send reminders to line managers.
  • Providing administrative support for the annual appraisal, pay review, and reward cycles, and other important events
  • Up to date knowledge of the team's day-to-day status and whereabouts for distribution
  • Minute taking at meetings e.g. HR team meetings, disciplinary meetings etc
  • Get involved in ad hoc projects as and when requested by the HR team


What you'll need:
  • Previous HR experience
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential matters sensitively
  • Experience of using a HR system
  • Keen interest in HR practice and basic understanding of HR best practice tools
  • Positive can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
  • Good administrative & organisational skills
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills (written, telephone etc)
  • Ability to prioritise and work to a tight deadline
  • Strong team working and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to probe, question & solve problems
  • Excellent multi-tasker
