Why we're hiring:

The Regional Head of Benefits, EMEA role is based in London and reports directly to the Director of Global Benefits in New York. This position works closely with the HR and financial teams of the WPP operating companies. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective benefits programs across the region, in compliance with local legislation and in line with group policy.

What you'll do:
  • Drive the implementation of WPP's global benefits strategy across EMEA region.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the regions benefit programs are consistent with WPP benefits policy and philosophy.
  • Ensure compliance of all benefit plans across the region with local legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice in the design, implementation, management and review of benefit plans across the region.
  • Research and review competitiveness of benefit plans and recommend changes as appropriate.
  • Ensure benefit programs are of the highest quality, efficiently managed and well governed.
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with service providers and suppliers to ensure best in class service delivery.
  • Lead and deliver major benefits projects across the region.
  • Develop and manage reward and benefits communication and education programs.
  • Drive the wellbeing agenda for the EMEA region.
  • Chair the Benefits Steering Group for EMEA.
  • Work closely with Operating Company CFOs and Senior Global Talent/Benefit Leads and WPP People Team leadership.
  • Support the Benefits team on wider global initiatives as necessary.


What you'll need:
  • Deep benefits experience, alongside experience in a management or lead consultant role.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of pension and benefits programs and practices across EMEA .
  • Excellent client servicing skills at all levels within of an organisation, with the ability to think strategically and with commercial awareness.
  • Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to analyse data to create insights and results.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, manage several projects concurrently and used to managing time effectively.
  • Ability and desire to mentor and develop other members of the benefits team.
  • A recognised pensions or benefits qualification (e.g. FIA/FSA, APMI, ACII etc) is desirable for this role.
