Hill & Knowlton is an award-winning, global communications enterprise with the culture and character of a mid-sized agency. Our Healthcare sector is growing rapidly, and we have an immediate need for a Senior Account Executive.

Are you an enthusiastic learner with a desire to excel? If so, the position offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for healthcare to work with leading clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and health IT industries.

This position is located in NY and is expected to be on-site in our office at Three World Trade Center two to three days a week.

• Is ever-resourceful, proactive and able to think on their feet --anticipating potential issues, developing response plans and looking ahead
• Has a working understanding of the healthcare industry and a passion for it

The Hill & Knowlton Healthcare team is a strategic frontline partner to clients navigating the healthcare conversation and the change and transformation of their business.

What you'll need to get here:

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Business or Public Relations
• 3+ years of full-time public relations experience (preferably in an agency)
• Healthcare industry or related communications experience
• Media relations expertise and pitching experience with healthcare journalists, with the ability and initiative to establish and grow media relationships
• Ability to develop pitch angles and identify strong client narratives that capture attention and communicate a clear brand message
• Digital & social media savvy with an understanding of how to reach a target audience and drive engagement through compelling content
• Superb writing and editing skills across a variety of platforms and content forms with a keen eye for detail (ie., experience writing press releases, white papers, op-eds, talking points, social media content, and more)
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work with quality and efficiency
• Professionalism, poise and confidence participating in a variety of situations including client meetings, internal executive meetings and media events
• Passion, integrity and excitement for working with industry-leading teams and clients within a globally influential firm

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
