The Role

The Director, Project Management is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations and profitability of the dedicated accounts in their assigned portfolio. Responsibilities include client relationship management, financial management, supporting the health of the client/brands and its account roster as well as the development and growth of more junior members of the project management team (PC, and PMs). The Director, Project Management is required to have a thorough understanding of all areas of the Hogarth/production services business and be able to partner with all discipline leads to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment. They work with and report to the Director of Operations to partner with account and production leaders to set up clients, projects and develop production strategy. They are also champions of flawless execution and growth.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Client Project Management
  • Responsible for managing key client relationships with a focus on delivery and production strategy across business(es)
  • Acts as the primary contact on Key Clients defining scope and approach, setting and managing expectations and deliverables, troubleshooting issues as they arise structuring regular status and communications.
  • Works with clients (brands) and creative agencies to ensure a clear understanding of the production brief, deliverables and timeline for each project and relays those details to other members of the team as necessary
  • Accurately identifies types of work and scopes, timing, difficulty of work and defining the processes necessary to get things done; simplifying complex processes
  • Develops and maintains high levels of team effectiveness (trust, communication, collaboration, productivity, diversity, engagement)
  • Influences the efficiency and quality of work and advocating for the agency/client relationship
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills with internal agency team and key external partners to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines for key deliverables
  • Owns integrated delivery roadmaps and timelines on engagements
  • Liase with offshore hubs to ensure collaboration and clarity of commercial strategy and ways of working.

HWW Responsibilities
  • Drives high quality work by leading initiatives from planning through delivery
  • Works closely with Director, Operations, to identify improvements to existing workflow and processes
  • Works with the PM teams to ensures the right resource allocation and management on any given program/project.
  • Responsible for PM oversight and support for the portfolio of clients and execution of monthly financial tasks: Revenue Recognition, Job Close, Billing etc.
  • Manages development and review of SOWs, staff estimates, profitability analysis, and utilization, working with Finance where appropriate
  • Ensures a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, and SLA's across assigned accounts and ensure specific details are understood by the broader team
  • Work with the Director, Operations to drive timesheet compliance across teams
  • Work with Project Management team to help identify and mitigate risk and help to develop contingency plans.
  • Provide mentorship and guideance to more junior members of the team (PC, PM)
  • Works with Director, Operations and Head of Project Management to lead business driven and operational initiatives (Training, PC Management, New Client Onboarding, Tool rollout/support etc)
  • Support new hires in training and ways of working onboarding
  • Support Director, Operations in the review of structure and resource allocation across superteam.
  • Contributes to Hogarth Worldwide North America agency culture by exhibiting ownership, professionalism, passion and leading by example
  • Identifies opportunities for Hogarth to create award-winning work within its accounts/projects
  • Leverages Hogarth's global network to deliver great work

Requirements
  • Minimum of 9 years of related experience within an international studio production environment, with a strong understanding of marketing and production implementation processes across all key channels, including digital, video, content, etc
  • Min 2 years supervising and managing resources and direct reports
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and relationships cross functionally
  • Strong interpersonal and management skill set to influence the direction and attainment of project objectives without line management of resources
  • An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring flawless creative execution
  • Proven ability to lead dynamic teams
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all stakeholders without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project
  • Must be commercially astute and able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Foundational experience with project management and staffing strategies
  • Foundational experience on global brands
  • Expert client relationship skills including presenting to clients, dealing with multiple stakeholders, and ability to think on your feet
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams a plus

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
