About the Role

As a Senior Sitecore Developer (6-month fixed-term contract), you will play a pivotal role in transforming clients' business challenges into cutting-edge technological solutions by shaping and overseeing the technical direction of projects. Your responsibility will be to ensure the successful realisation of project objectives with an unwavering commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate client requirements to Sitecore & .NET technical designs
  • Participate in planning and estimation activities for project teams, identifying and managing risk and providing purpose and direction to the wider project team
  • Utilise deep understanding of CMS (Sitecore 9+) solutions to make appropriate recommendations and technical decisions
  • Translate the client's business requirements into technical requirements and systems design
  • Design and implement template and layout for Multi-site, Multi-lingual, Multichannel scenarios
  • Ability to self-manage time for the efficient delivery of work
  • Have a desire to learn new frameworks, platforms and technologies

Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities
  • Extensive experience in Sitecore development and the delivery of digital projects
  • Proficiency with end-to-end enterprise, .Net implementation, and deployments
  • Solid understanding about Sitecore applications including Pipeline, Analytics, Personalisation and Authentication.
  • Good understanding about Sitecore Helix principle
  • Hands on experience with DevOps
  • Experience with a modern version control system such as Bitbucket or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with project managers and clients
  • Ability to manage time for efficient delivery of work
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
  • Good understanding of usability, accessibility and cross browser compatibility issues
  • Experience working in both an Agile or Waterfall delivery process
  • Team oriented; willing to help and takes pride in producing the best outcome for the client at every step of the way
  • Strong educational background in computer science or related fields (preferred)
