The Role

Ogilvy Australia is looking for a Community Manager who specialises in community engagement. We are looking for someone who has a passion for their craft, gets excited by ideas and is immersed in the craft of social media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage client social channels, build and continue to grow brand awareness on social media, monitor and track in real-time any trending moments on social, real-time crisis management.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the agency processes, end-to end; and proactively provides input to account, creative and strategy team members regarding community management and social media.
  • Collaborate with copywriters & social strategists to produce social copy and deliverables.
  • Work with Account Management team to ensure deliverables remain on-brand and within client guidelines.
  • Maintain TOV that remains on-brand and in-line strategically with client requests.
  • Conduct social listening and prepare Daily/Monthly reports, as well as Brand reports as needed
  • Some ad hoc hours may be required on the weekend to assist other team members when needed


Required skills and experience
  • Some prior experience within communications or community management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Having some Photoshop, Editing and Motion Design skills isn't critical, but a big bonus
