We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Data Analytics to join our team and lead the charge in shaping the strategic vision for short and long-term process and deliverable enhancements.

Position Overview:

As the Director of Data Analytics, you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for short and long-term growth, collaborating with the Data Analytics leadership team. Your role involves ensuring the department continually delivers objectives by working closely with business leads at CMI and clients. You will apply continuous learning to provide actionable recommendations for departmental growth, serving as a lead data management contact for a roster of clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Set the strategic direction and vision for short and long-term growth of key client relationships and products.
  • Ensure all data QA processes are established, communicated, and consistently followed.
  • Collaborate across departments to understand client needs and design data management products, procedures, and deliverables to advance CMI's strategic position continually.
  • Oversee the maintenance of internal system and process documentation, update SOPs, and communicate changes to team members.
  • Maintain and build relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Perform or coordinate UAT on internal database systems, in-house applications, and new products and data assets.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all client-related projects and deliverables.
  • Ensure operational excellence across the team in key processes and deliverables within the data analytics organization.
  • Represent the department in client pitches, presentations, industry events, or with the supplier community when needed.
  • Work with sales, media, and finance on scoping and deliverables, ensuring the department meets those goals.
  • Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of products and services, including project management of bringing new products to market.
  • Identify new and emerging datasets within the marketplace for possible integration with proprietary data.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS, MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
  • 8+ years in marketing analytics reporting experience.
  • 5+ years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience managing a team.
  • 7+ years of experience translating business questions/requirements into actionable analysis and reporting.
  • Superior analytical skills with proficiency in a broad range of primary and secondary marketing research and analytics.
  • Analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage a heavy workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages preferred (Python, SQL, etc.).
