Responsibilities of the role:

We are seeking a smart, enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of our Advertising Operations team. Our team is responsible for ad serving, creative asset management, web analytics, ad verification and the implementation of other optimisation technologies associated with the execution of digital advertising - and for ensuring digital campaigns are launched on time and run accurately. We provide consultancy to our clients and colleagues and are at the centre of all things tech within the agency. Our team is structured to provide a tailored approach that is both flexible and adaptable to align to our clients needs.

In this job, you'll be accountable for managing and supporting the Ad Operation team, leading and developing future proof workflows and processes to ensure we continue to deliver best-in-class ad operation tools. You'll also be designing specialised Ad Tech solutions across our portfolio of clients, using your knowledge of ad serving systems, Ad tech tools and other new and emerging technologies, to direct and advise stakeholders on the best course of action to obtain the best solution. You will also be working closely with other technology and data strategists, to ensure accurate measurement and tracking across clients' campaigns.

What your day job looks like:
  • Manage and develop team members, including their successful induction into the team, the continual assessment of their needs, the delivery of training, and development of their Advertising Operations career.
  • Support the recruitment of Advertising Operations resources; help manage and motivate the team on a day-to-day basis; ensuring appropriate resource allocation across clients, efficient workflow and flawless output
  • Serves as a key escalation point or project lead (if required) for both internal and external stakeholder for clients and campaigns matters relating to Ad Operations:
  • Supporting the team in their daily campaign monitoring efforts to ensure campaigns are running as expected, providing optimization recommendations and escalating to third parties when appropriate.
  • Supporting in the evaluation of workflows and processes in order to streamline cross team functions while keeping us organised and efficient.
  • Supporting the development, implementation and management of Ad Operation standards and best practices across regional/ local teams in APAC.
  • Supporting the project management of creative specification requirements and digital asset delivery; coordinating timelines and leading communications with our agency partners.
  • Maintain a high quality standard for the Ad Operations department to ensure 100% operational accuracy.
  • Leading the Ad Operations account audit consulting service component on a client to client basis.
  • Constantly seek new opportunities to drive added value through efficiency for clients while protecting their investment.
  • Execute class-leading campaign tracking implementation strategies through Tag Management Systems as well as creating bespoke tracking code for complex mapping when necessary.
  • Serve as a strategic partner for interdepartmental questions; attend internal meetings providing updates or consultation as needed.
  • Present in internal team meetings and participate in client meetings.
  • Support team leadership in the continual assessment of ad tech platforms and tools; and help lead in testing of different products, including client recommendations, implementations and consulting.
  • Project manage and drive ownership of internal initiatives.
  • Support client deliverables and projects on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Act as an ambassador of ad operations across the agency. Train new starters and continually educate teams on recent developments; building advocacy across the agency.

What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in ad operations
  • A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Well-developed organizational and project management skills, to ensure you can keep on top of your own and others workloads
  • Fine-tuned communication, presentation and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
  • Computer literate with superior knowledge of Excel and a strong interest in internet technologies and media
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript or PHP.
  • Diligent with a strong attention to detail and able to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
  • You need to have a solution-based & active mindset, with ability to translate ideas to actions and answer business problems.
  • Ability to prioritise a complex mix of work and manage time effectively
  • Have an active interest in everything digital and advocate spotting and voicing new trends in the digital advertising industry.
  • Thorough and investigative with the ability to identify 'sales speak' vs real benefits of a technology
  • Able to develop relationships and motivate suppliers and internal team members
  • Desire to learn and be part of a dynamic growing team
  • Experience of working with Campaign Manager 360, Sizmek, AdForm and other 3rd party ad servers
  • Experience of working with DSPs, DMPs, Tag Management Systems or Site and App Analytics tools would be a distinct advantage
  • Good knowledge of Information Governance rules and Data Privacy Policies.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
