Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Strategy Director who wants to create the best work of their career, joining our dynamic team of 20+ Strategists in our London office.

The Strategy team at Design Bridge and Partners sees its role in pushing brand strategy to the next level by leading the development of solutions that make a real difference to our clients' businesses.

Main responsibilities

A Strategy Director position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to a global FMCG client, across both communications and brand strategy throughout multiple international markets, as well providing leadership to colleagues by taking responsibility for projects, pitches and their results.

This means ensuring clients understand and 'buy in' to strategy, designing and facilitating unique strategy development and communications processes, and scaling these beyond a single stakeholder or organisation.

By offering a fresh interpretation of the client's brief or challenge; rearticulating and building consensus around a new narrative and direction. Additionally, you will apply strategically-driven creative and communications planning ideas across a wide range of touch points for your client; creating in collaboration with the other functions inspiring brand worlds and how we can activate them in real world.

Your experience

You will have experience leading brand, communications or pitch teams and clients from a strategic perspective; bringing the best from cross-agency teams and setting expectations around strategy standards.

This will be partnering with a large, global FMCG brand at the heart of culture, so you'll be expected to have reasonable experience within semiotics, and adapting that to innovation led products, as well and being able to plan the communication channels to activate the brand to the right audience.

As a Strategy Director you will push the agency and client into new areas of opportunity, representing the agency (and the Strategy Team) in the industry and leading on brand, activations and communications strategy.

You will actively build, together with the other Strategy Directors, a high-trust culture that enables everyone in the Strategy Team and agency to perform at their highest possible level.

Your skills

You will be able to lead strategic processes and build clear strategic solutions for branding and communications projects, offering a 'product first' approach with a fresh interpretation of the client challenge.

You will set the strategic vision and obtain stakeholder buy-in, identifying opportunities for growth and building proposals with team leads.

Additionally, you will lead (in collaboration with a Creative Director) the translation of analytical/critical strategic thinking and concepts to creative concepts and output (across brand definitions, comms concepts & messaging, brand identities, brand experiences and consumer packaging).

Why us?

World-famous brands. National icons. Technology unicorns. Plucky upstarts no one's yet heard of. You'll get to work on all of these, with a team of brilliant, optimistic people right by your side and scattered all across the world.

We're passionate about our people and their careers. We'll help you to develop your skills and provide you with outstanding benefits. So, you'll have a chance to make your mark on our future, as we make a mark on yours.
