We at VML Egypt are looking for a passionate and driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

You must be able to understand clients' needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns daily. You should be a team player, have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and be digitally savvy.

Your role & responsibilities will include:

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives.
  • Manage client expectations, communications, and feedback effectively.


Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, digital, etc.) to deliver projects that align with client goals.


Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic marketing and advertising plans that align with their brand and objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on industry trends and client needs.


Campaign Development:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of creative campaigns, including advertising, branding, and digital initiatives.
  • Ensure campaign strategies are aligned with client objectives and effectively communicated to internal teams.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track project performance metrics, analyze results, and prepare reports for clients on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns and strategies.


Problem-Solving:

  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive client experience.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop solutions to ensure project success.


Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding client relationships by offering additional services or solutions.


Team Collaboration:

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, working closely with creative teams and other departments to achieve client objectives.
  • Communicate project requirements and expectations clearly to internal stakeholders.


Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide innovative solutions and maintain competitiveness in the market.


To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent business development and account management skills.
  • Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills.
  • Solid 3+ years of experience in creative agencies.
  • Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including research, creative, production, media, interactive, database and technology services.
  • Experience in planning and strategy, with exposure to ATL and BTL marketing.
  • 'Driven for results' mentality - a "go getter".
  • Curious, thorough, and meticulous.
  • Objective, organized and analytical - sees the bigger picture as well as the day-to-day details required to get there.
  • Creativity, initiative combined with commercial awareness.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demanding targets.
