The Supervisor of Innovation drives innovative media and partnerships forward at CMI Media Group. In this role, you will stay at the forefront of technology, media, and advertising, collaborating with partners to create new offerings and propel our business.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of creativity, forward-thinking, and continuous improvement for assigned pharmaceutical clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within our media agency to develop innovative solutions and strategies that push the boundaries of media planning and execution, ensuring our clients' brands stand out as best-in-class in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, vet, and evaluate new innovative partners for media opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape.
  • Partner with Engagement Strategy, Business Leads, Activation teams and clients to lead pilot opportunities
  • Serve as an Innovation lead across accounts within CMI Media Group, both in a client-facing position and as support for the engagement strategy and activation teams.
  • Establish strategic relationships with partners in areas such as audio, VR, AI, gaming, and other forward-thinking non-traditional, pharma-first partner opportunities.
  • Discover new technology and advertising partners, introducing them to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to creating bi-monthly POVs for internal use and dissemination to client teams.
  • Collaborate with the media and brand team to discover new ways to leverage technology and partners, helping to spread Agency thought leadership to prospects and current clients.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of technology and media planning, advancing Agency products and opportunities.
  • Work alongside Department leaders to partner with vendors in creating and delivering unique opportunities to brands.
  • Collaborate with engagement strategy and audience intelligence team leads to support business growth, new services on assigned accounts.
  • Grow existing relationships and expand CMI Media Group's presence in the marketplace through ideation and innovation for assigned accounts.
  • Be well-versed in CMI Media Group's current offerings, operating as a 'sales engineer' when partnering with strategy and execution teams within the Agency.
  • Have a deep understanding and passion for the growing innovation landscape, including omnichannel opportunities, the metaverse, audio, social, and beyond.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in innovation management or related roles.
  • Media agency and pharma experience preferred.
  • Proven experience leading innovation initiatives.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and identify opportunities for new ideas.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams at all levels.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, and their potential applications in a media organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically, evaluate opportunities and translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
